Meet Melanie
Melanie has been a resident of Wallingford for over 40 years. She is an alumna of Sheehan High School, class of 1994. She and her husband, Stephen Rossacci, built their family home in 2001, where they continue to reside and have raised three children – Tyler, Sydney, and Brady. Their family also includes a golden retriever named Kodiak. Melanie and Stephen own Triton Athletics, a gym in Wallingford. The Rossacci family enjoys athletic activities and supporting each other’s pursuits, from high school and college events to CrossFit competitions, marathons, and adventure races.
Professionally, Melanie brings over 25 years experience as a Senior Managing Consultant, with expertise spanning population health, children’s behavioral health, strategic grant planning, and juvenile justice. Her background includes substantial work in both state government and non-profit sectors, where she has championed causes such as youth welfare and social justice. Melanie is recognized for her leadership, networking, and collaborative skills, consistently fighting for important community issues. Melanie is on the Boards of Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Haven and the Coalition For A Better Wallingford.
